A Caffeinated Tour Around The World

From Global Trade To Masochism

Your grocery bill keeps climbing. Coffee, tea, chocolate—even canned goods—cost more every month.

If you run a small business, every shipment cuts deeper. You raise prices and risk losing customers, or absorb the cost and watch profits vanish.

We blame inflation or supply chains. But another quiet culprit drives prices higher: tariffs.

They were sold as protection—but they’ve done the opposite. Families in the U.S. pay more, while growers and traders around the world watch opportunity dry up. From São Paulo to Seattle, people are feeling the same frustration and wondering what happened to the America that once championed open markets and free exchange.

Because this isn’t new. America has walked this road before—repeating the same tariff mistakes for generations.

Let’s trace how those choices shaped the economy then—and how their echoes still raise prices today.

  • 18th Century

Patriots dumped tea in Boston Harbor to resist taxation without representation. Ordinary leaves sparked extraordinary rebellion.

  • ⚔️ 19th Century

Coffee tariffs forced Americans to brew corn and chicory, and duties on tea nearly split the Union. Even morning rituals became political battlegrounds.

  • 🌎 20th Century

Protectionist tariffs choked global trade. Coffee rotted in Brazil, tea sat unsold in Asia, and the Great Depression only deepened under the weight of bad economics.

  • 🚩 21st Century

The Tea Party shouted about tyranny in 2009—then cheered tariffs by 2016. The hypocrisy is destructive: liberty traded for economic lunacy. Now coffee, tea, chocolate, sugar—even smartphones—are pawns in modern tariff wars.

Why are we still doing this?

Tariffs raise the cost of everyday life—not to protect you, but to protect special interests. They don’t help small businesses or working families. They make everyone pay more for less—coffee, tea, chocolate, even basics on the grocery shelf. Each tariff is another hidden tax, dressed up as patriotism but paid for by you.

Over time, nearly every economist—left, right, and center—has reached the same conclusion: tariffs destroy wealth and shrink opportunity. What began as a stand against unfair taxes has turned into an embrace of them. You weren’t wrong to want fairness or strong jobs—you were misled about the means. Real prosperity doesn’t come from walls or taxes; it comes from freedom, trust, and open exchange.

From Broken Promises to Better Choices

Tariffs and government meddling don’t protect—they restrict. They make goods scarcer, choices smaller, and life more expensive for everyone. At Phantom Vibes, we believe freedom is the better path.

By working directly with global growers and U.S. roasters, we deliver what protectionism takes away: fresh coffee, fair trade, and the freedom to choose. Real prosperity isn’t built on barriers—it’s brewed through connection, knowledge, and courage.

Every Purchase Fuels Real Freedom

At Phantom Vibes, every bag of coffee is roasted fresh after you order—not months in advance like the big brands. Our teas are prepared in small batches for unmatched flavor and purity. You’re supporting U.S. roasters, small suppliers, and independent creators who believe in honest trade. The result? Some of the freshest, boldest coffee and tea you’ll ever taste, crafted by people—not corporations.

Your choice fuels small business. Your cup keeps freedom brewing. And your mind? That’s where the real rebellion begins.

Whether you’re in America or across the seas, dive into our original and restored eBooks to uncover the history behind the mess affecting prices and prosperity today. Learn what went wrong—and how freedom, not tariffs, paves the way forward.

Brew freedom. Read truth.

(Note: The coffee and tea are U.S. only, but overseas consumers can still get our eBooks and select merchandise.

F.A.Q.

Can I trust the quality of the tea and coffee?

Yes. Phantom Vibes uses some of the best suppliers in North America. The tea and coffee are both made fresh just for you.

They're not old shelf products you might find at a store, and definitely not the mysterious church coffee you'd drink only because it's there.

When will my order arrive?

Every order is prepared fresh and shipped directly from our U.S. partners.

Coffee & Tea: Roasted or packed after you order — never warehoused. Most ship within 1–3 business days, with U.S. delivery in 3–7 days and international delivery typically within 3 weeks, depending on customs.

Merchandise (books, mugs, and other gear): Usually ships separately from our print or fulfillment partners within 3–5 business days.

🌍 International Orders: Availability and delivery times depend on current tariff restrictions and each supplier’s global shipping network. We expand our reach as regulations and partners allow — because free trade shouldn’t stop at borders.

You’ll receive a tracking link once your items ship.

What if I don't want your original books?

We're in the process of remastering several eBooks. The Book of Tea, Max Havelaar, Coffee Repartee, and Told In The Coffee House are currently available. More to come soon. We choose to remaster public domain books that are already high quality and either famous or underrated.

If you're half interested in our eBooks, but not enough standalone, we also offer them free with our coffee, tea, and other products.

When will I get my products?

Digital products are immediately. Physical products will usually be shipped 1-3 days.

What is your refund policy?

We aim to make our products available internationally, so our refund policy follows EU consumer protection standards. To keep things fair, we extend the same policy to all customers — including those in North America.

Please note that digital products (like eBooks) are non-refundable to prevent fraud. If a digital item was included as a free bonus with a physical product (such as coffee or tea) that is returned, access to that digital item will be revoked.

What Products Have You Released Before?

We’ve previously published eBooks on health, wellness, and how to avoid scams right here on our site. They’re currently delisted while we update them to fit our new direction.

We also once tried launching our own gaming headsets, but tariff hikes crushed that dream. It hit us hard — and yeah, we’re still a little bitter about it.

So now, we’re selling our bitterness in caffeine and education — using coffee and economics to wake people up to how trade policy affects everyone.

Global Trade, Shared Freedom

Phantom Vibes exists because of global trade—beans, leaves, and ideas carried across borders by countless hands. No single person controls the process, yet together it creates coffee, tea, merchandise, and knowledge that fuel freedom.

Our originals, Sip On It and Chocolate Covered Economics, draw on this truth—directly inspired by I, Pencil and Bastiat’s defense of free exchange. Alongside restored classics, these eBooks remind us that liberty doesn’t begin with tariffs, but with ideas.

💡 Spread Knowledge, Fuel Freedom

Tariffs punish small businesses, families, and creators—but we believe trade should empower, not restrict. That’s why Phantom Vibes built an affiliate program designed to put power (and profit) back in your hands.

📚 Our eBooks pay 50% commission—because knowledge is the most valuable product we share.

☕ Shipped coffee, tea, and goods pay 20% commission—turning daily rituals into a steady stream of support.

For small businesses, it’s a way to expand without inventory headaches. For creators, it’s a chance to share rebellion-ready ideas with audiences who crave substance. And for everyone, it’s proof that global trade and cooperation work better than protectionism ever could.

By joining, you’re not just selling—you’re resisting tariffs, amplifying free exchange, and keeping liberty alive in every sip and every page.
